First up, a scarf for my Ma-In-Law. I had already made her some Knucks back in October, so I wanted to do something different (fingerless mitts went to pretty much everyone else).

Pattern: 1x1 ribbing over about 25 stitches
Yarn: Knit One Crochet Too Paintbox, 1 ball of Borealis (04) and one ball of Rosy Denim (15), I think.
Needles: US 10 bamboo straights
This yarn was great to knit with -- very soft -- and I loved seeing how the colors would match up. I realized when I was finished that the thrift store jacket I was wearing the day I made it matched the colors exactly! Kind of weird...

Next up, two pairs of Fetchings. The first for my friend Kelly:

Pattern: Fetching, by Cheryl Niamath
Yarn: Classic Elite Skye Tweed, 1 ball of Paisley Pink
Needles: US 6 dpns
ElizaB asked me via Ravelry if the Skye Tweed was scratchy as she was thinking about using some for a pair of Dashings. I'm so glad she did because when I put them on and wore them around for awhile, I realized they were a little scratchy! A little washing cleared that right up. Not sure why I didn't do that in the first place...LAZY.
The second pair were for my sister-in-law:

Yarn: Springwater Fiber Workshop Spectrum wool and tencel (which I love)
Needles: US 6 dpns
Evan calls these her hobo gloves, which I think is cute, but I did remind her that these have CABLES on them, which make them much fancier. Hobos do NOT do cables.
Many more Christmas knits will be blogged very soon. Stay tuned!
Oooh very pretty, you've been busy! =)
