Start to Finish: December 1-4, 2009
Notes: This is an adorable and cleverly-constructed pattern, though slightly fiddly, but only because the mousie is so small.
While getting this little guy ready for his photo shoot, we happened to have a visitor. Let's zoom out shall we?
Indeed, Stewart took notice of the mouse, clearly jealous that someone else was getting a gift and he wasn't.
So he decided to take it for himself.
And try to eat it. Bad cat!

* Harry B. Callis. My husband's family has long given human names to their cats and then signed them up for things like magazine subscriptions or AARP, with hilarious results. My favorite story relates how close they were to getting a credit card for the (now, sadly, deceased) Riley L. Callis (a tiger point Siamese). The initial paperwork went through, but after several phone calls that Riley could suspiciously not take ("I'm sorry, he's taking a nap." "No, Riley can't come to the phone right now. He's currently outside relieving himself." etc.), the application was rejected.

I love the little mousie and how cute that your kitty liked it so much. Perhaps it was just giving it a test run! We name all our pets after people too, although only the one name. I just realised that after reading your post.
