Res Completa: Daniel Soren

As it ends up, the baby was simply waiting for me to post his aran sweater. Not three hours after posting my blog entry last Thursday night, I realized that things were moving. And at 4:28pm on Friday afternoon, after a blessedly uncomplicated labor and delivery, this little guy came into the world:


Daniel Soren, 8 lbs, 1 oz, 20" long

We are home resting now, marveling at little cheeks and lips...


and savoring every stretch and yawn.


By far my best knitting project to date.

    How wonderful! I laughed about the fact you posted and then went into labor! Yep, sounds like he really wanted you to get that Aran sweater completed for him! LOL! What short delivery for you! Now, as a mother of 6, let me tell you this, ENJOY EVERY SINGLE MOMENT of this precious angel. He will be grown quicker than you can possibly imagine! When you think you want to go do something else besides hold him, don't, hold him! Seriously, savor each moment, I can't stress that enough.
