I on the other hand - also 5'4" - look dwarfed in too much fabric. It's in the proportions, I guess. Try one on in a store and see how they look on you -- the one in Custom Knits is perfect, especially the finishing -- if they work for you. I'm anxious to see. I have seen people wear cap...capes to me are a meh. I have seen people wear capes and pull it off really well.
