Sans Collar

Flicca, she is almost done...

She is washed, she is blocked, she is seamed (I did quite a bit of seaming at Samovar before the Sabrina Gschwandtner event -- I don't know why I don't hang out at coffee/tea shops and knit more often. Oh yeah. Stupid job.), and she is simply awaiting her collar and button bands. I've decided to put two buttons near the bust. I'll probably wear her open most of the time, but it's good to have options.

I am only somewhat pleased with how she fits. Though in the beginning I was hoping for a somewhat fitted sweater (thus went ahead with my tighter gauge), I now wish she were bigger, cozier, and a little more wrap-around-able.

I am, however, very pleased with the skirtiness of the bottom of the sweater. I loooove how the all-around decreases create little ripples at the conjunction of the 3x1 rib and 2x1 rib panels.

(Not sure why I'm so smirky here. Must be the new bangs.)

Hopefully after this weekend, between the parties and the Christmas baking, Flicca will be avec collar, after which I will put her on and not take her off for several days.
