Patternum Novum: Parapluie

Have you all seen the Fall issue of Twist Collective yet? As ever, it is gorgeously styled and shot, and I was honored to have had a design included.

Parapluie is a tunic knit in a lovely grey alpaca with an a-line shape and this umbrella-y stitch pattern going up both sides:

It's knit all in one piece from the bottom up, with a circular yoke and a ribbed turtleneck topping things off. It was actually a pretty quick knit, despite its long length. And the Umbrella stitch motif adds enough interest to break up the big Stockinette portions and keep you on your toes.

It's so exciting to see your work pop up! I just told a friend last night to consider knitting a Citron on her trip to Egypt. I have knit two and know there are a few more waiting in the proverbial wings.
