Citron Kits

Last summer, I had an idea. Wouldn't it be fun to do up little Citron kits with the pattern, the yarn, and pretty, citrus-inspired project bags?  Of course, projects like these always take longer than originally anticipated...my mom and I started sewing around August...and the bags were just finished last week. So I am very excited to announce that limited-edition Citron Knitting Kits are now available on Etsy. The kits contain the materials needed to make a Citron shawlette: the pattern, professionally printed on nice quality card stock, one skein of Malabrigo Lace yarn, and a handmade project bag made from lovely cotton prints. They come in several "flavors":

Original Flavor, of course...

 plus, Blueberry Lime...

Lemon...

Orange...

and, my personal favorite, Pink Grapefruit.

(There are several more flavors available -- go check them out!)

The handmade project bags are of the "box bag" variety and measure roughly 7" long x 4" wide x 4" deep.  The perfect size for toting around your Citron-in-progress.

They have pull tabs on either end, one in fabric and one in ribbon, a contrasting zipper, and a 4.5" long handle.

Each bag is fully lined with zero raw edges.

I think these kits would make an excellent gift for a knitterly friend or family member...and it is that time of year.... :)

P.S. I have a number of items to review/give away, so I'm going to be doing an Advent giveaway every week starting tomorrow or the next day.  So stay tuned for some free stuff!
