Reclaimed - A Giveaway

A few weeks ago, I posted about Reclaimed, Knit Picks' newest pattern collection for fall, based around the idea of "classic and simple structures reimagined with unexpected elements."  My own contribution to Reclaimed was the Atmos Cardigan:

But the entire collection is stunning - cozy, modern, wearable knits for fall, all done in a gorgeous color palette.  Here are some of my own favorites from the collection:

Thick Chill by Teresa Gregorio
Could there be a cozier accessory? I'd bet this knits up very quickly, too.

Belt Cardi by Jenise Reid
This is such a flattering design.  And this is exactly how I'd wear it (hair and all!).

Addison by Thayer Preece Parker
I am a huge fan of the knitted dress, though haven't actually made one for myself yet.  I may have to start with this one, in these exact charcoaly colors.

and Swarm of Bees by Lisa Kereliuk

So, so pretty.  I think this piece would be great for layering and especially wearable right in that transition from summer to fall.

Now would you like your own copy of Reclaimed? I have two copies to give away, and one of them can be yours! Simply check out the Reclaimed collection (here or here) and let me know which design you like best -- you have until 11:59pm next Thursday (September 12th), and I'll draw two winners on Friday the 13th. (Eek!) The winners will receive both a hard copy of the book, as well as the digital version.

Now, happy Friday!

It's a wonderful collection of wearable pieces~ where to begin? I think for practicality I would make Swarm of Bees first as a layering piece that I can wear to work, but then....the Atmos cardy, the Bellflower coat, the Belt cardy..I like all of them!

Unknown said...

Love your Atmos cardi but also like Cable Embrace and Belted Cardi. Winters are warm where I live and cardigans are useful for a good part of the year.

Tori said...

I love the Swarm of Bees sweater. It is so beautiful, and the texture is great. But it's hard to choose just one. All of the patterns are amazing. They might just all have to be added to my queue.

MegR said...

It would be the Savitri coat! I think that would turn heads.

Atmos! I have recently moved to a much warmer climate, so I'm trying to knit things other than big chunky (and therefore very warm) sweaters!

I love the Thick Chill cowl! I'm curious about the Landslide, too.

I love the Kyoko mitts and the bellflower coat, Montreal can be cold and those pieces are must have's when it's getting slightly chillier! The whole thing is magnificent though!

The Savitri Coat

Tish Sentell said...

The savitri coat is one of my favorites, but they all look great.

Belted cardi - so cute! I'm also digging the Bellflower and the Addison. So many great choices!

I absolutely love the cable design on the Kyoko Fingerless Mitts (besides, fingerless mitts are one of my favorite things to knit)! But I also like the Bellflower Coat! Impossible to choose just one! :)

Beth said...

Although I love them all, the Calistoga tunic is my favorite.

Anonymous said...

The Jayashri Pullover - the collar is wonderful and fun. I could see it with a medium to dark gray and any number of colors for the collar. The possibilities are endless!

NYC Runner said...

I like the belt cardi the best. While I really like the Atmost cardi, I prefer long sleeves. I would have to rework the sleeves on the Atmost cardi. I love cables, so it's a tough choice.

Unknown said...

Ohhhh, if only I didn't have KADD
(Knitters Attention Deficit Disorder), I would L-O-V-E Addison!

But the one project I KNOW I would make multiple times would be the Kyoto fingerless gloves!

I love the Calistoga Tunic. The zipper detail at the neckline is beautiful.

I love love love the cardigan on Page 12. (my version didn't show the title, so sorry!) It's elegant and classy, wearable for work and play! I think I could wear it to the office as well as picking apples or choosing pumpkins. It's a beautiful design!

celtic moon studios said...

Savitri AND the bellflower coat ! both are gorgeous !

CardiLover said...

This is one of those rare collections of which I can see myself knitting seven or eight patterns. I found it, though, because I was searching for a good bulky-weight pattern and both the Atmos and Bellflower cardigans caught my attention in that search. I really like the bold stitching of the Atmos, so I think I'd have to say that one is my top choice, though it's a close race!

honeybee33 said...

Well, if you look at my moniker you can see that Swarm of Bees would obviously be a fave. ;-)

But I am also intrigued by the Atmos Cardigan. I've got some long-discontinued Ballybrae that I'd set aside for a tunic-length cabled vest, but this is really adorable. Also, Landslide Cowl - tweedy cables are a weakness and that recycled leather strap and buckle are dead clever.

(ok, so I want to Knit All The Things - is that so wrong?) ;-)

Joy said...

My fav is the Calistoga tunic :)

Cathy said...

I love your cardigan--It looks so snuggly without being hot. I love Swarm of Bees, too.

stephanie Welch said...

A toss up between Belt Cardi and Bellflower coat. Both are gorgeous!

Jenny said...

I love the belt cardi! Thank you for the chance to win!

Anonymous said...

Of course I would like to win a copy, though probably you would not be interested in sending it over to Europe. But the digital version would do, no doubts!
My favourite pattern is the 'Straight A dress'. I have already pictured myself in it, maybe a bit colder gray but still.
Well, I will keep my fingers crossed during the Friday's drawing taking place on the other side of the Globe.
:)

Ooh, congrats on the gorgeous design, and holy moly, this whole collection is knocking my socks off.... I'd knit the belt cardi first, it would be so awesome to wear to work or on the weekends... it's right up my alley!

I love them all, too, but if I had to pick just one, it would be the Atmos Cardigan.... I really like cables, and I wear cardigans all fall/winter/spring, even in the summer in the A/C.
