Today I turned 31 years old and since I already received the best present ever back in March, I don't know that I'll ever view my own birthday in quite the same way.



Though I'm really digging my new cat-eye shades...



...as well as my new Diana Mini, which came as a complete surprise, and which I am very excited about. Lomography is something I've been wanting to check out for a few years. I keep catching myself describing it as "just like Hipstamatic, but analog", which is just a wee bit backwards...and what's crazy to me is that Daniel will probably grow up having no idea why. Anyway, I hope to find an easy way to share my non-digital photos with you all here. I've already taken, like, 50.



I am also pretty stoked on the 7 hours of completely uninterrupted sleep Daniel gave us last night, even after I stayed up too late. Crossing my fingers he'll repeat for a truly great birthday.
